When it comes to luxury compact crossover SUVs, the 2021 Audi Q5 and the BMW X3 are two of the biggest standouts. Though the two German-made crossovers may be similar on the surface, once you dig a little big deeper, you will find that the Audi Q5 wins out in a number of different categories.

Here at Audi Silver Spring, we are proud to have the Audi Q5 on our lot, and our dealers are happy to explain why it is superior to the BMW crossover.

Luxurious Interior

While both the BMW crossover and the Audi sportback have soft-touch materials, exquisite detailing, and various luxury conveniences inside the cabin, you’ll likely discover that Audi paid incredible attention to detail in the cabin, from the precision of the knurled dials to the perfect angularity on the indicator stalks.

The technology is another area where the Audi vehicle moves ahead in the race. No matter which trim level you choose, an impressive 10.1-inch infotainment screen comes standard in the 2021 Audi Q5. You can easily navigate through the MMI touch display with either your finger or the sound of your voice while driving. It lets you view navigation directions, key driving and contact information, on-board entertainment, and more.

One final way in which the Audi sportback excels is the available Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with 19 speakers. BMW doesn’t partner with this high-end audio provider.

Powerful Performance

The 2021 Audi Q5 comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine that cranks out 261 horsepower. It also comes with a standard 12-volt hybrid system. The BMW crossover falls slightly short at just 248 horsepower and offers no hybrid system.

Test out the 2021 Audi Q5 for yourself here at Audi Silver Spring.
